Comfortable self-catering accommodation situated in the centre of the beautiful Peak District village of Longnor.
The self contained property, to sleep up to 3 people, is situated on the first and second floor of a historic property adjoining St. Bartholomew’s Churchyard. It is situated in the centre of the village, 6 miles from Buxton and 9 miles from Leek.
It’s history dates back to the 18th century, once an inn and, more recently the exterior used as the Inn in the BBC’s adaptation of ‘Pride and Prejudice’:

On the ground floor is an Artist’s Studio and visitors wishing to combine a stay with some personal tuition from an award winning Artist can arrange this and make use of the additional small artist’s studio on the 2nd floor.
- The Property is peaceful, located up a narrow cobbled street.
- It makes a wonderful base for walking or cycling in the Peak District.
- It is close to the Manifold Valley and High Peak trails which both operate cycle hire facilities.
- The Property is ideally suited for access to such attractions as Chatsworth House, Buxton Festival, Bakewell, Ashbourne, The Roaches, and Alton Towers.
- All Electric, Night Storage Heating and hot water, Bed linen and Towels are included in the price.
- The Village has a Post Office, Village shop/newsagent, two pubs at present serving food, a fish and chip shop, and a café which serves all day Breakfasts and teas.
- There is ample free parking at either end of Chapel Street and loading/unloading can take place just outside the Property
